Hungarian BMW and Mazda dealer accelerates with incadea.engine

Schneider Ltd, a Hungarian BMW and Mazda dealer implemented incadea.engine in August 2009. Originally this was a decision of the importer, BMW Hungary, but it was soon recognised that the software has many advantages and additionally, further developments were asked from incadea’s local partner MultiSoft Ltd.

 

Background

Schneider Autóház Kft. was founded in 1991 and deals with the sales and service of BMW and Mazda vehicles (both new and second-hand). With 3 premises (a BMW and a Mazda showroom in Pecs, another one for both brands in Kaposvar), it was necessary to create a system in which the work of the whole company can be integrated, and which can be used for specific functions at the same time. Today incadea, based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, is used in all 3 premises, and its the perfect solution for all problems arising.

The business problem

The problem had been, besides the handling of the 3 premises and the 2 different brands, that the different functions – like sales and finance - of the company were not integrated, they were handled in different programs. „These programs could not be used as an enterprise resource planning software, not even if they were connected together, because they worked in different ways, moreover, we had to pay for many licences to several companies” says Szilvia Kersák, project manager for incadea at Schneider Autóház. The company had also been looking for a solution that would make them able to react faster to the changes of the automobile market: to be able to communicate with the software of the manufacturers, and to be able to make their own reports faster.

The solution

The advantages of using incadea DMS (dealer management system) were soon recognised by Janos Schneider, managing director and owner of Schneider Autóház, that is why the software was implemented on all the 3 premises in August 2009. „We found it practical, that we should use the software for Mazda as well, if it can be used for BMW, so that everyone can see all the information in one system, to be able to work well together. The software has been used by all BMW dealers in Hungary, but for the Mazda brand we got specific developments – which were delivered by MultiSoft. A lot of functions have been created in a similar way as it is in the BMW system, but now it meets the specific requirements of Mazda, in everyday tasks like invoicing, too.” – says Szilvia Kersák.

MultiSoft has customized the standard software for the needs of Schneider Autóház, and developed a module which meets the requirements of Mazda. This module makes it possible for Schneider Ltd. to communicate with all the other Mazda dealers, and can be used by other Mazda dealers, too.

Advantages

incadea, based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, includes functions that does not only make it possibe for remote premises to work aligned, but also sales people can create business information from data in the system. „The biggest advantage of the software is that our finance works from it, so it is much easier to make reports, and we can create them at the touch of a button – this would take several hours, or rather, days in our previous system. Besides time saving, incadea gives us transparency, easier business management, which leads us to efficient workdays, and indirectly increases our income.” says the project manager.

 

The purchase of the software was optimal, since the company recieved financial (EU) support from MAG Zrt. MultiSoft did not only implement the software at Schneider Autóház, but also gave technical support. „MultiSoft has given us trainings so that our employees can learn how to use the system, this is how the whole company was able to work with incadea in 3 months only, from accountants to the service staff.” says Szilvia Kersák.
